I was the Product/ Programme Owner for Rise as well as all of the other clinical programmes whilst working at The Cabin.
The Cabin in Chiang Mai was looking to split their “general addiction” treatment into gender responsive treatment/ villages. This meant launching a new women’s programme by the end of January (31st) 2019. The programme is a combination of Women’s Integrated Treatment Model (WIT) by Dr Stephanie Covington. We will be offering gender-responsive services (site selection, staff selection, program development, content & materials, all reflect an understanding of women’s lives, that addresses and responds to challenge and strengths.

Trauma informed addiction will be the key focus of the programme. Ideally, we would like to create interest before the programme launches so we can start preparing knowing the uptake as there are several streams of services offered and several demographics.
Whilst the Programme Director was designing the clinical programme for the women’s village, the market research both primary and secondary was important. I had the opportunity to run focus groups with the clients in treatment (this was a first ever for The Cabin). These focus groups gave the women a chance to

We had to align this programme with the new brand which was rolling out from January 2019 plus create an identity for the women’s programme. This needed include from a name, creative development, website landing pages, strategy for attraction and collateral to support the programme from engagement through to continuing care.
